cici’s for a penny
i just saw a commercial for cici’s pizza. a lot of people like that place. all you can eat pizza for like five bucks, i think. or something cheap. i don’t know. i’ve been once, because a bunch of people were there. but i have never been back. probably won’t be either. it’s not my thing. anyway, the commercial says they are rewarding “penny picker-uppers” by dropping pennies outside their restaurants that are branded on one side with a “free buffet” coupon. find one, you got yourself a freebie. what a good guerrilla marketing idea. suppose you go there to try find one of these pennies, but you don’t. you’re now standing right outside their restaurant, and are presumably hungry… do you go in and pay fill-price anyway?
